Sasakawa Memorial Health Foundation provides grants to projects implemented by non-profit organizations based outside of Japan.

Applicants for Sasakawa Memorial Health Foundation's grants must be national and international non-profit organizations based outside of Japan. This includes educational and research institutions. The Foundation does not accept applications from, nor provide grants to, private individuals or for-profit organizations.
Sasakawa Memorial Health Foundation's grants support non-profitable and institutional initiatives. We do not accept proposals of the following nature:
Eligibility is not contingent on the amount requested. The Foundation generally accepts multiple-year project proposals spanning a period of less than three years, but they must undergo screening every year. In principle, indirect costs should not exceed 10% of direct costs. Resubmission of previously rejected proposals cannot be accepted.
Any application for the following year needs to be submitted by 31st August.
For the fiscal year 2012(April 2012 to March 2013), we kindly request your applications to reach us before 31st July 2011.
