Our Mission

1. We will work for the world without Hansen's disease and all its concomitant stigma and discriminations. Hansen's disease is a curable disease. We will work to realize environments to ensure prompt diagnosis and appropriate treatment for those who need. We will aim for a society in which anyone who has had Hansen's disease and their family members are assured of their independent lives with dignity and free from stigma and discrimination.

2. We will strive to create an environment where all individuals facing illness can receive palliative care. The aim of palliative care is enhancing quality of lives of not only the diseased and their family members but also the people of the community as well as all medical/non-medical care givers. We will assist achieving the conditions that will fulfill this aim.
